A lot of webmasters estimate that a "Meta Description" tag must contain between 150 and 200 caracters. To create this tag, you can develop the title of the page. Build a real sentence, dont place a list of keywords separated by commas. The "Meta Description" tags must normally be different in each page. However, because of their decreasing importance, you can divide your site in "areas" ("Products", "About the company", "News"...) and, inside these areas, duplicate the same"Meta Description" tag on each page.
